ARK: Survival Ascended Giganotosaurus TLC Overhauls the Apex Predator
Giganotosaurus is now stepping up for its turn in the TLC spotlight! Thanks to your Extra Life vote, the ground is beginning to shake again.
The Giga gets a fully updated model and animations, an additional color region, and a new passive called Wounded Fury: below 75% health it grows increasingly powerful, reaching up to 50% increased damage and 30% increased damage resistance, and shares half of those bonuses with nearby allied non-Giga creatures. Taming now means proving yourself through an Apex Challenge, carrying an Apex Offering crafted from Alpha trophies near a wild Giga, letting its attacks build its Torpidity to a 50% cap, then enraging it and surviving until the rage ends before finishing the tame. Once tamed, it brings a new Heavy Stomp or Tail Slam area attack, a dedicated Rage bar with a Regain Control window that lets you cancel an enrage by landing attacks, and the ability to rally an entire tribe into battle.
