No Man’s Sky FORSAKEN Update Adds New Content as the Game Launches on iOS

October 29, 2026

Hello Games has released FORSAKEN, a free major update for No Man’s Sky that brings a darker side to space exploration with new discoveries, biomechanical spacecraft parts, and several gameplay improvements. The update is available now across supported platforms, arriving alongside the game's debut on iPhone and iPad.

FORSAKEN introduces new activities centered around exploring some of the universe's most dangerous locations. Players can search derelict freighters, infested outposts, deep-space wrecks, and planetary dig sites for strange biological samples and haunted artifacts. These discoveries can then be traded with mysterious collectors for exclusive rewards.

One of the main additions is a new collection of spacecraft components that lets players give their Corvettes a more sinister, organic appearance. New cockpits, interior modules, and structural pieces offer more customization options, while scavengers can also unlock a Larva Tank helmet and the unusual Larva Cannon Multi-Tool.

The update also introduces space courier missions, allowing players to transport valuable packages between locations across the galaxy. Another notable addition is seamless warping, which lets players target nearby stars directly from space and travel to them without opening the Galaxy Map. A radial weapon selector and a new Minimal HUD mode round out the gameplay improvements.

📱No Man’s Sky Is Now Available on iPhone and iPad

FORSAKEN also marks the arrival of No Man’s Sky on iOS, bringing more than 40 major updates to compatible iPhone and iPad devices. The mobile version features redesigned touchscreen controls, controller support, and optimizations aimed at reducing battery consumption and heat during longer play sessions.

Players can try the beginning of the game for free on compatible devices, starting with the iPhone 11 and third-generation iPad Air. The download is approximately 4 GB, making the full No Man’s Sky experience available on mobile with a relatively small installation footprint. However, multiplayer is not supported in the iOS version.

FORSAKEN is the fifth major update released during No Man’s Sky's tenth-anniversary year, following REMNANT, XENO ARENA, THE SWARM, and COSMOS.
