Gran Turismo 4 Gets a PC Port with 4K and 60 FPS Support

One of the most beloved racing games from the PlayStation 2 era is now playable on PC thanks to GT4Recomp, a community project bringing Gran Turismo 4 to modern hardware with enhanced visuals and performance.

💻Enhanced Visuals and Modern Features

GT4Recomp supports resolutions up to 8K, 60 FPS gameplay, ultrawide monitors, and modern controllers. Players can also install HD texture packs to improve the game's visuals. The project uses static recompilation to run the game's code on modern CPUs, although its graphics renderer still relies on components derived from PCSX2.

❓How to Play

The project requires a compatible PC and a personal disc image of the North American version 2.00 of Gran Turismo 4. The game files are not included. Development is ongoing, but GT4Recomp already offers an exciting way to revisit this racing classic on PC.
