Start your next journey in Pywel with Crimson Desert's DLC Charting the Unknown. Find new adventures across land and sea, and reach beyond—into the unknown.
The expansion launched on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $24.99. It introduces three new storylines, one each for Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane, accessible through the Journal menu after completing the main story, plus a new ocean-focused storyline unlocked after finishing "Howling Hill". For the first time, players can dive beneath the waves to explore Pywel's underwater world, discovering ruins, treasure chests, and new creatures and mounts—though staying submerged consumes breath, so diving gear helps extend your time below. Once you establish the Greymane Camp at Howling Hill, you can build your own ship through a dispatch mission or purchase one from a Fleet Office manager, then set sail across the Great Ocean.
Life in Pywel also deepens: Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane can build trust with inhabitants that may blossom into romance and even marriage, while closer friends may visit your upgraded camp. An upgraded housing system lets you build your home from the ground up, and three specific castles can be liberated and claimed, with courtyards and interiors decorated using unique objects and furnishings. You can also lease and manage businesses, from a restaurant in Vellua to a smithy at Zargan Tankworks, and take on the Garden of Trials—a boss-rush challenge against familiar foes from your adventures, accessible after clearing the main questline and rewarding special prizes.
Xbox players can also try Crimson Desert Enhanced with a 5-hour free trial running from October 29, 2026, through January 7, 2027.
