Telltale Games has confirmed that The Wolf Among Us 2 will launch in 2027. The announcement, made during Summer Game Fest, was accompanied by the reveal of The Wolf Among Us Remastered, a rebuilt version of the 2013 original scheduled for Holiday 2026.
A New Chapter for Fabletown
More than a decade after players first stepped into the role of Bigby Wolf, Telltale is finally continuing the story of its narrative thriller inspired by DC’s Fables comic series.
The Wolf Among Us 2 takes place after the events of the original game, returning players to the hidden world of Fabletown in modern-day New York. As tensions rise among its fairytale residents, Snow White struggles to keep order while new forces begin reshaping the city’s criminal underworld.
At the center of the story is Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, who becomes entangled in a conspiracy following a brutal string of crimes. The investigation promises the same blend of mystery, character drama, and player-driven choices that helped make the original a fan favorite.
PM Studios Joins as Publishing Partner
Telltale is working alongside PM Studios, which will support global publishing, distribution, and go-to-market efforts for both upcoming releases. While PM Studios handles publishing support, Telltale remains responsible for the creative development and narrative direction of the franchise. Both The Wolf Among Us Remastered and The Wolf Among Us 2 are officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered Arrives This Holiday
Before Bigby's next case begins, players will get a chance to revisit where it all started. The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches digitally during Holiday 2026, bringing the original five-episode noir adventure to modern platforms with a range of technical and presentation upgrades.

Release Platforms
The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches during Holiday 2026 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. Physical editions will follow later in the holiday season.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is scheduled for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
