SmokePatch has confirmed that SP Football Life 2027 Version 1 will be released on November 1, 2026. Several additional updates are planned for the days and weeks following launch, including an updated face pack, new player commentary names, and repacked stadium packs.
🗣️ Face Pack 26/27 and Commentaries v10
The Face Pack 26/27 update for FL27 is expected a few days after the game's release. The current Real Face Pack 26/27 is already compatible with FL27, while the upcoming update will add more real faces and update the appearances of some well-known players. SmokePatch is also considering repacking the face pack in the near future. The goal is to remove duplicate and redundant faces, reducing the overall file size and memory usage.
Commentaries v10 is also expected a few days after launch. This update will add more player call names.
🏟️ New Stadium Packs Planned for November
Existing stadium packs are currently being reviewed and prepared for repacking. SmokePatch expects releases to begin in mid-November, although no specific release dates have been announced for individual packs.
🛠️ FL27 Updates and Technical Changes
Game updates and maintenance releases will be provided as needed, depending on the urgency of issues and the progress of new content and features. The game will display a notification when an update is available.
The FL27 Starter and Switcher have also been updated to .NET Desktop Runtime 10, following Microsoft's scheduled end of support for .NET 8 and 9 on November 10, 2026. If the required runtime is missing, Windows will display a notification with a link to Microsoft's official download page.
Smoke has also started working with external contributors on selected aspects of Football Life. Their contributions will be integrated gradually as the content becomes ready, with further details to be announced when appropriate.
A redesigned SmokePatch website is planned for release before the end of 2026!!!
⚙️ FL27 Editing Tools May Require Updates
SP Football Life 2027 uses a different edit file encryption key from PES 2021. As a result, some existing editing tools may need updated decrypter and encrypter support to work with the new game. Smoke has shared the necessary information with Devil Cold52 to assist with updating compatible tools. The FL27 encryption key is also publicly available for tool developers and advanced users.
