EA SPORTS FC 27 introduces a major overhaul to attacking movement, giving both AI and player-controlled attackers more intelligent ways to create space. From improved spatial awareness and curved runs to refined off-ball movement, these changes are designed to make attacking play more dynamic, realistic, and rewarding while giving players greater control over every run.
🃠Attacking Spatial Awareness & Creative Runs
Smarter Attacking AI
Attackers now have improved spatial awareness, making more intelligent curved runs into open space instead of drifting into crowded areas. This creates better passing lanes and more realistic attacking movement.
Triggered Curved Runs
Players can now manually trigger curved runs that bend behind the defensive line, helping attackers stay onside while finding space.Â
A new Pass & Follow option also lets the passer make an intelligent inside or outside curved run after releasing the ball.
Limited Triggered Runs
Manually triggered runs no longer continue indefinitely. Players will only run for a limited distance before repositioning, requiring you to trigger another run if you want them to continue.
Improved Creative Runs
AI-controlled attackers now make smarter off-ball movements based on available space, defensive positioning, and the offside line, resulting in more dynamic and realistic attacking patterns.
