eFootball Kick-Off! has received its previously announced League Mode through a free update on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players a new way to compete across 25 leagues around the world. Konami has also released a launch trailer showcasing the new mode, which lets players choose a club and play through a full season with the goal of winning the league title.
League Mode Covers 25 Leagues
The new mode spans leagues across Europe, South America, Asia and Oceania. Players can follow their club's progress throughout the season, with league standings updated after each matchday. The mode also tracks individual achievements, including the race for top goalscorer and assists leader.
League Mode supports solo play as well as local co-op, allowing up to four players to represent the same club during matches.

In leagues with registered first and second divisions, teams can also move between divisions when a new season begins.
More Content Arrives With the Update
The update also expands World Tour with 13 new legendary players, including Fernando Torres, Keisuke Honda and Gerard Piqué. Players can use the mode's tournaments and rewards to add legendary players to their squads.
eFootball Kick-Off! launched exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2026, bringing the eFootball series to a Nintendo platform for the first time. Its existing modes include World Tour, International Cup, Quick Match, and 6-a-side football.
League Mode is available now as part of the free update for eFootball Kick-Off! on Nintendo Switch 2.
