EA Sports has unveiled the full details of Season 9 for EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team,
introducing the new National Pride player customization system, a
refreshed Season Ladder, and the return of FUTTIES Tokens. Centered
around the future of international football, the new season also
includes carryover rewards for EA Sports FC 27 and several changes to Champions Tokens following community feedback.
🏳️National Pride Player Items and Season Pass
Season 9 introduces National Pride Player Items, a new customization feature that lets players build and upgrade a unique card through Evolution Consumables earned in the standard Season Pass. The journey begins with a National Pride Rarity Shell at Level 1, which can later be enhanced with OVR boosts and PlayStyle+ Picks.
The free Season Ladder features rewards such as National Pride, Franco Mastantuono, and FUTTIES ICON Kenny Dalglish. Meanwhile, the Premium Pass, available for 500,000 Coins or 1,000 FC Points, includes additional rewards like Phenoms Warren Zaïre-Emery, FUTTIES ICON Jairzinho, Evolution Cosmetics, packs, and vanity items. At Level 22, Premium Pass owners receive a token that can be redeemed during either Season 9 or Season 10, while reaching Level 30 unlocks an exclusive carryover reward for EA Sports FC 27.
🎁 Carryover Rewards for FC 27
Carryover rewards earned in FC 26 Ultimate Team will become available in EA Sports FC 27 beginning in early October. To claim them, players must log into Ultimate Team using the same EA Account before early November. EA confirmed that rewards cannot be redeemed after that deadline, with the exact availability date to be announced in a future seasonal blog.
🪙 FUTTIES Token Store and Champions Changes
The FUTTIES Token Store launches on Friday, July 10, with weekly refreshes moving from Thursdays to Fridays. According to EA, the change gives players more time to earn and spend tokens before new offers arrive. Following feedback from Season 8, most packs, Evolution Consumables, and Player Items in the weekly refresh will require fewer tokens than the maximum amount players can earn each week. Three Evolutions will also be added to the Token Store every week.
EA has also increased the number of tokens available through Division Rivals and Squad Battles across every rank, with additional rewards offered in the higher Rivals divisions. The weekly token cap remains unchanged at 1,000.
Champions Token rewards have been reworked as well. Every win now grants a flat 100 Tokens, while players finishing between Rank 1 and Rank 3 will receive additional non-token rewards. In addition, Player Item prices in the Champions Store have been reduced, meaning just three wins are now enough to earn the required tokens for one Player Item.
🎮 Future World Tour and Daily Knockout Competition
The Future World Tour will introduce five new Objective groups every week, celebrating players expected to shine at the 2030 World Cup. Completing four of the five groups rewards players with FUTTIES ICON Frank Lampard.
Season 9 also features a three-round Daily Knockout Competition with unlimited entries. Participants can earn rewards by winning the tournament or simply by playing more matches, with National Pride Martín Zubimendi among the featured prizes.
📅 Festival of Football Tokens Extended
The Festival of Football Token Store will remain available until the end of August, giving players extra time to spend any remaining FoF Tokens. However, FoF Tokens will no longer be obtainable once the FUTTIES Token program begins on July 10, and the FoF Store will no longer receive weekly refreshes.
