FIFA Editing Toolsuite Adds Full FC 27 Support in Major Update

October 16, 2026

The wait is over! The latest FIFA Editor Tool update brings full FC 27 support to both the Editor and Mod Manager, marking a major milestone for the modding community. The update also adds FC 27 morph face support with FBX import and export, new player-editing capabilities, and major performance improvements that make creating and installing mods faster than ever.

🎉 Full FC 27 Support and New Face Editing Features

One of the main additions is full compatibility with EA SPORTS FC 27 across both applications. The Editor also supports FC 27 morph faces, including FBX import and export and mesh previews, expanding the tools available to modders working on player faces.

The update further improves face editing with new options in Batch Import Faces, letting users select the face donor, source variation, and face ID. Other additions include Batch Add Badges, Kits and Tifos, as well as the ability to add custom player body meshes through the upper and lower body folders.

Modders can also use the new Check Shader Compatibility feature to identify project meshes that rely on shaders unavailable in the game.

❗Major Performance Improvements

The update includes extensive optimizations designed to make mod creation and installation faster. Applying mods benefits from hard-linking instead of copying files, parallel mod-data copying and improved bundle processing. Modding cache generation, asset loading, mesh previews and several database operations have also received performance improvements.

The Mod Manager introduces additional quality-of-life changes, including support for mods larger than 4 GB through split export files, automatic migration of the mod library to the game's drive, and texture quality options that allow users to reduce selected textures' resolution during installation.

🛠️ More Editing Tools and Fixes

Beyond FC 27-specific improvements, the update adds batch import and export capabilities to several asset explorers, texture resizing tools, improved mesh export defaults, and additional FBX import fixes. It also updates all SDKs and packages while addressing numerous bugs across the Editor and Mod Manager.

This is a substantial update for the FIFA modding community, combining FC 27 support with new face-editing capabilities, faster workflows, and a broad range of improvements throughout the toolset.
