Ubisoft is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving PC players the chance to claim For Honor Standard Edition completely free of charge. The promotion is available through the Ubisoft Store and Ubisoft Connect until September 28, 2026. Once the game has been added to your Ubisoft account, you can keep and play it permanently, even after the giveaway ends.
⚔️ A Battle Between Warriors
Originally released in 2017, For Honor is a third-person melee action game built around competitive combat between warriors from different factions. Players can choose Heroes inspired by Knights, Samurai, Vikings, Wu Lin, Outlanders and other warrior cultures, with each Hero featuring different weapons, abilities and fighting styles.
🛡️ The Art of Battle
The game's main feature is its Art of Battle combat system, which allows players to attack, block and parry from three different directions. This system is used across several multiplayer modes, including 1v1 Duels, 2v2 battles and 4v4 Dominion, where teams compete to capture and control objectives.
🩸 Year 10 Season 3: Blood Hunt
The giveaway also arrives shortly after the launch of Year 10 Season 3: Blood Hunt. The new season introduced Ranked Dominion, which features seven ranks from Bronze through Grandmaster, along with a new Hero Skin, Battle Pass content and Halloween-themed events.
💻 PC-Only Promotion
It is worth noting that this is a PC-only promotion. Players who claim the game during the promotional period will receive the Standard Edition through Ubisoft's platform, rather than a Steam copy. Ubisoft has not announced the giveaway for PlayStation or Xbox.
