CD Projekt has revealed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, an upgraded
version of the acclaimed RPG featuring remastered visuals, enhanced
combat, improved movement and revamped monster behavior. The remaster
will also introduce changes to progression and customization, while
including both major expansions. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered
will launch on September 29, 2026, for PC via GOG, Steam and the Epic
Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo
Switch 2. The upgrade will be free for existing owners of The Witcher 3.
âš”ï¸ Combat, movement and monster behavior enhanced
The remastered version brings visual improvements alongside changes to how the game plays. Combat has been enhanced, movement has been improved, and monsters will feature upgraded behavior.
The update will also overhaul the skill tree and add new customization options, including transmogrification and new finishing moves.
🧙 Both expansions included
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will include the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, bringing both major post-launch adventures into the upgraded version.
