Is the new FUTTIES Rüdiger SBC actually worth completing? With a huge physical presence, top-tier defending and some very strong PlayStyle+ options, he certainly looks like a beast on paper. But with plenty of top-tier centre-backs already available, is Rüdiger good enough to justify spending your fodder on him?

Rüdiger looks like a really solid FUTTIES SBC, especially considering his price. At 6'3" with a Lengthy body type, 99 pace, 99 defending, and 98 physical with Shadow, he has all the tools to be a dominant centre-back in-game. His PlayStyles+ options also give you plenty of flexibility, with Anticipate+, Intercept+, Bruiser+ and Block+ standing out as particularly strong choices. The main downside is that this card doesn't feel as special as his 99-rated FUTTIES from last year, and there are definitely other CBs that could compete for a starting spot. Still, if you're looking for a powerful, physical defender without spending a huge amount, this is a very good-value SBC and one we'd definitely consider completing.
