EA Sports FC 27 introduces Hall of FUT, a brand-new Ultimate Team player category created to celebrate the footballers who became true legends of the mode. Rather than recognizing only real-life achievements, Hall of FUT honors the cult heroes, overpowered favorites, and unforgettable cards that defined Ultimate Team across the years.

The concept itself is excellent, but there's a major catch. To get your hands on one of these Hall of FUT players at launch, you'll need to spend $150 on the EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Edition Plus, which is a steep asking price for early access.
We expect that, much like some of the Heroes introduced in EA Sports FC 26, and as leakers revealed, these Hall of FUT players will eventually become available in packs, SBCs, Objectives or Rewards, and will surely receive upgraded versions during future Ultimate Team promotions. For now, however, EA has only confirmed that the initial way to obtain them is through an exclusive Player Pick reserved for those who purchase the game's most expensive edition.
There are already references to a Hall of FUT Team 1, as well as red Hall of FUT player items, suggesting that additional versions of these cards are already planned.
It's also worth noting that Hall of FUT players won't be available to EA Play Pro subscribers at launch, making the offer even more exclusive.
On the bright side, this is great news for the modding community. Since these players are already included in the game files, modders will likely add them to their databases shortly after release, allowing Career Mode players to enjoy them without waiting for official Ultimate Team content.
For now, the players confirmed for the Hall of FUT Player Pick are Marouane Fellaini, Loïc Rémy, Eljero Elia, Adebayo Akinfenwa, and Giovani dos Santos.
