EA Sports has launched Glory Hunters, a new campaign for EA Sports FC 26’s
Football Ultimate Team mode, centered around knockout tournament
football. The promotion introduces PlayStyle Lab, expanding the
customization system first seen during the FUT Birthday event’s Birthday
Bakery feature.
PlayStyle Lab and Player Items
Glory Hunters player items begin without any PlayStyles or PlayStyle+ abilities, giving players a blank slate for customization.
The campaign includes several item types: standard Glory Hunters, Showdown, National Pride, and Red National Pride variants.
Journey of Nations
The Journey of Nations promo sends players through South America and Europe, rewarding Packs, Evolutions, and national team vanity items. Carlos Alberto and Thomas Müller are featured as reward players for completing objectives across both continents.
Players who complete the current Journey of Nations objectives alongside previously released ones can earn Diego Maradona. Additional objectives will arrive during Glory Hunters, including a Crafting SBC Objective and Milestone Objectives that reward Evolution Consumables used to add a fourth PlayStyle+ to Glory Hunters items.
New SBCs and Live Events
Festival of Football Crafting Squad Building Challenges are now available, offering Packs and Player Item Picks. A selection of player SBCs will be released throughout the campaign, covering Glory Hunters, Showdown, National Pride, and End of an Era items.
A House Rules Live Event centered on penalty shootouts introduces continent-themed objectives. Rewards include Packs, Celebrations, Coins, Evolution Consumables, and a fourth PlayStyle+ for Glory Hunters items.
Showdowns and Evolutions
Six Showdown player items tied to specific knockout matches will be released over the course of Glory Hunters. The campaign also features Evolutions inspired by standout performances from the summer tournament, covering goals, midfield displays, and goalkeeping moments. Showdown items receive a notable boost for the knockout stage. These
player cards now start with three PlayStyle+ traits, and players can add
an additional +2 overall rating and a fourth PlayStyle+ through
progression.
EA Sports has confirmed that additional tournament events will follow, with chained knockout action beginning on July 3.
