Good news: Festival of Football is rolling out a brand new reward system called Tokens — and you can earn them in pretty much every mode you actually enjoy playing. The even better news? You don't have to grind modes you hate anymore. We'll walk you through the best rewards and, more importantly, what's actually worth spending your hard-earned Tokens on.

- 📅 Starts 4 June. Tokens are a new reward type across Rivals, Squad Battles, Rush, Live Events, Objectives, and SBCs.
- 🎮 Play your way. Tokens unify rewards — same progress whether you grind Rivals or chill in Squad Battles.
- 🎟️ Weekly cap: Up to 1,000 Tokens per week ( a total of max 5000 during the complete season ). EA wants you to choose wisely, not grind endlessly.
- ⏰Some rewards will be available throughout the entire season, others will be time-limited, and a few will refresh after a while. So keep an eye on those timers — or don't, and risk the classic "I should've claimed that" regret later.
- 🏆 FUT Champions Tokens also arrive, with a dedicated store. Weekly rotating Red National Pride Player Items are the main attraction.
- 💰 Save or spend. A few wins each weekend? Redeem weekly. Want something bigger? Save across multiple weekends. Higher finishes still give extra Coins on top.
👎5 Marquee Icons — Great Idea, Poorly Executed
Let's talk about the five Marquee Icons up for grabs: Pirlo, Zanetti, Owen, Rivaldo, and Petit. 👑
Each one costs 🎟️ 2,500 Tokens. In the best-case scenario — earning the weekly cap of 1,000 Tokens — you're looking at just over two weeks per Icon. And that's assuming you don't spend a single Token on anything else in the store. 🐢
Here's the friendly reality check: considering the Evolution we'll break down later, spending Tokens on these guys might not be the smartest move. That said, if you're going for one, Pirlo looks like the best of the bunch. Smooth passing, still elegant — you know the drill. 🍷
But honestly? EA should have either sped up the timeline or let us earn more Tokens per week if these are the requirements. Asking players to grind nearly three weeks for one Icon — while ignoring other rewards — feels a bit rough. 😬

You'll also find Path to Glory players like Schick or Amad available for 200 Tokens each, plus packs containing players of different values and rarities.
