EA Sports turned the Sophia Poor rating controversy into a free Evolution for goalkeepers. But is Poor Sophia worth using on your favorite goalkeeper, or is it just a fun reference to the original joke? Let's take a look at the requirements and upgrades.
EA Sports turned a community joke into a free Evolution called Poor Sophia, named after English goalkeeper Sophia Poor, who received a low 62 OVR rating in EA FC 27. After she humorously complained about her stats on TikTok, the pun on her surname went viral, prompting EA to join in with an Evolution exclusively for goalkeepers.
