i recommend:

seanjohn1414's global (i using natural light + long hexpad): http://www.moddingway.com/file/39583.html
(will work with Lagoa and Cam's globals--all are amazing).
all credit to those above, the sweetfx settings are the easy part.
to install, copy all files over to the main game directory. adust monitor brightness/settings to your satisfaction.
if you already have sweetfx, remove all sweetfx related files before installing.
be sure to back up all files in case you wish to revert back.
