What is Football Life
SP Football Life is our attempt to update and continue the offline career modes found in the beloved and retired PES series. FL26 is updated for the new 2025/2026 season.
This version includes numerous small updates, enhancements, and fixes that together provide a fresh feel to the game. Graphics, sound effects, ball physics, and gameplay have all been improved, along with core game and launcher enhancements.
Update 2.1 is available.
FL26 General Features
Teams and Players
FL26 is updated for the 2025/26 season. Promoted teams have replaced relegated ones, and a new team selection is included.

Edit mode is fully functional. There are three fully editable teams for user creation (Ceres Negros, Žalgiris Vilnius, Zamora FC). The database is unlocked for the community; however, modifying BIN files may cause serious errors and conflict with future database updates.
Game Updates
We perform periodic scans of the database for squad and attribute changes and import new players from the live database. The game will receive frequent updates depending on urgency and progress. Updates also include improved graphics and minor corrections discovered during gameplay.
The game will show update notifications upon launch if available.
National squads are updated but still pending the official World Cup team list in November.
Future Season Upgrades
This version is built with future season upgrades in mind, allowing both full versions and upgrade versions in the future.
Addons
Commentary v8
FL26 includes the new English Commentary v8, featuring additional player call names and new commentary dialogues. For other languages, see the commentary addon.
Real Faces
Player and staff faces are available as a separate addon due to their large size. It is highly recommended to download and install the new Facepack 26-27, which adds immersion to the game.
The new facepack is tailor-made for FL26 and will receive updates throughout 2026 and 2027.
