Paulv2K4 has started a FIFA 21 Modding Revolution

  POSTED October 14, 2020

Paulv2K4 has made great improvements regarding FIFA 21 modding possibilities. As you can see the release an early access tool ( alpha version ) that allows you to import legacy files ( database, badges, career files ). Check out the details and get the tool.

The tool allows you to import files from a Legacy folder. It works similar to Juce Sider for Pro Evolution Soccer. This tool will read files from a folder and import them to the game. This is really a modding revolution regarding Frostbite engine. Of course, there are errors but take into account that this is just an alpha version.

How does it work ?

Once you downloaded the tool just unpack it to a folder of your preference and start it.

  • Select Launcher
  • Browse for your FIFA.exe file
  • Click on LAUNCH ( remember to have your FIFA Settings closed )

This first time you run this tool, it will create a few folders inside FIFA main folder. Check out the LegacyMods folder. Let say you would like to import a database ( you can get the FIFA 21 original database from here )

  • You have to place the database file in folder LegacyMods / Legacy / data / db / in FIFA 21 main folder
  • Tick on Inject Legacy Mod Support
  • Again click on LAUNCH and start the game.

You can do this with any of the legacy files as you used to do in old FIFA games.

For instance, you can import badges for those unlicensed teams. Anyway, this may lead to problems when starting the match. Of course, this will improve and we hope that in a future everything will be moddable.
