NBA 2K21 No free upgrade to next-gen unless you get MAMBA Edition

NBA 2K21 comes to PS4 and Xbox One in September, and to PS5 and Xbox Series X for $10 more. Only players who get the Kobe Bryant special Mamba Forever Edition will get a free upgrade to the next-gen consoles. Not a good deal.
Not good news for NBA 2K21 fans. To get a free upgrade to the next-gen version of NBA 2K21 you need to purchase the Mamba Forever Edition on PS4 or Xbox One. Not a great deal since there is no release date confirmed for the next-generation versions.

MAMBA FOREVER EDITION includes NBA 2K21 Standard Edition on PS5 or Xbox Series X, 100K bonus VC, and the Zion Williamson Digital Collection, accessible on NextGen. ( Offer only available for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, within the same console family. (PlayStation 4 To PlayStation 5; Xbox One To Xbox Series X).
So you will only get the upgrade to the Standard Edition of Next-Generation consoles and not to Mamba Forever Edition.
So you need to spend almost 100 USD on the Mamba Forever Edition of current-generation consoles to get the upgrade to the 69 USD Standard Edition of Next-Generation Consoles.
