🎭 PlayStyles Granted
The true value lies in the "Triple PlayStyle+" combination:
PlayStyles+ (Gold):Intercept, Anticipate, and Aerial Fortress.
PlayStyles (Silver): Bruiser, Jockey, Technical, and First Touch.
🎯 Strategic Goal
The evolution aims to create an Elite "Auto-Defender." By combining Anticipate+ and Intercept+, the player becomes a magnet for loose balls and highly efficient at clean tackling. It is specifically designed to take a "heavy" or "slow" defender and turn them into a meta-relevant speedster with perfect defensive positioning.
⚠️ The "94 Heading Accuracy" Bottleneck
While the 90 OVR limit seems generous, the 94 Heading Accuracy cap is the real "gatekeeper" of this Evolution.
Targeting "Pure" Defenders: This restriction is designed to exclude many top-tier "Aerial" specialists or physical powerhouses who already have high heading stats.
The Van Dijk Filter: It effectively blocks many elite versions of players like Virgil van Dijk or highly upgraded Team of the Week (TOTW) defenders who often cross that 94 threshold.
The Trade-off: Since the Evolution gives a massive +30 Heading Accuracy, EA uses this cap to ensure the final card doesn't break the game’s scaling. It forces you to choose a defender who might be slightly weaker in the air initially, only to transform them into a dominant aerial threat once the 5 levels are completed.
In short, it prevents you from making an already "perfect" aerial defender even more broken, pushing you instead to "rescue" cards that are currently lacking in that specific department.
