FIFA 17 Modding Possibilities

Many of our visitors are asking about chances of modding FIFA 17 for PC. Well, honestly, we don´t believe that FIFA 17 could be modded as previous FIFA games. We were modding FIFA since 1999 and we never faced something like Frostbite. This is like returning to stone age of FIFA modding but now we have to understand something that even other communities like, battlefield one, barely did.
In the best of cases we will be able to add textures but we believe that most of the features present in previous FIFA mods will be impossible ( i mean new teams, new competitions, etc ) Imagine that files format and structure have not only changed completely but to far complex ones.
We are sure that modding community will try by all means to find a way to mod the game. Anyway we believe that it will be a long long journey and probably with not so great results. We guess that first aim should be to try to import textures and in the best of cases add kits to teams with unlicensed ones ( no one will want to play with Uruguay or Colombia with generic kits ) If that could be achieved we should celebrate like winning a world cup final.
